WE DO NOT LET CHILDREN PLAY WITH MATCHES

Next Project

Hubert Reeves, worldwide famous astrophysicist, referred to Nuclear as “a technology for angels, too dangerous to be entrusted to humans.” similarly said as “we do not let children play with matches”. Inspired by Reeves and by this simple maxim, this installation recalls the fragility of nuclear threat and man’s temptation to use this energy.

The public is invited to walk through this sea of fragile clouds or vases that appear so fragile that they seem like they could explode at a single touch. This collection of 10 vases, each being a “sculpture-sequence”, are unique and different from one another, each freezing a moment of the explosion at different times.
