Winning proposal for the interior design of the Fribourg Public Transports construction plan to centralize vehicles’ maintenance and parking with the offices. Colucci & Colucci Design was in charge of the aesthetic and functional aspects of the offices interior design.
The studio’s biggest challenge was to break up the linear aspect of the 100m long corridor destined to be filled with successive offices and meeting rooms. CCD’s remedy was to design an open work space separated by wooden partitions, made of large and elegant slats, thus combining visual impermeability to acoustic comfort. Several interaction areas intended for informal meetings have also been placed in the corridor in order to diminish this linearity.
