"Once upon a time, there was a beautiful and well-known geisha. She was introduced to me by her producer. She was dressed in her traditional kimono and her face was powdered white. Chika asked me if I was interested  in designing her wine bar, situated in the most ancient quarter of Tokyo, Kagurazaka  where she lived."

« … I was extremely surprised  by her request - Colucci continues - I'd like to have, she said, a  contemporary space in an ancient, traditional dwelling. The first step was to imagine her  while she was moving, walking around, working in her traditional kimono in a contemporary environment, surrounded by my objects.
